Bhikhudan Govindbhai Gadhvi is a renowned folk singer from Gujarat and a prominent representative of folk literature. He was born on 19th September 1948 in Manekwada village of Keshod Taluka, Gujarat. He has made a significant contribution to keeping the tradition of Gujarat's "Dayro" and folk songs alive.

Personal Life

Bhikhudan Gadhvi's family includes his wife Gajaraba Gadhvi, three daughters (Anjana, Meena, Hiral), and a son (Bharatbhai). They currently reside in Junagadh.

Educational and Musical Journey

He stepped into the world of music at the age of 10 and gave his first public performance at the age of 20. His inspirations were Zaverchand Meghani and Dula Bhaya Kag.

Musical and Literary Journey

He has released over 350 audio albums, including popular creations like "Bhaadanu Makan" and "Khandanine Khamir." His effort to popularize Gujarati literature and music globally is commendable.
